DUSHANBE, January 30, Asia-Plus — Tajik tourism operator Bunyod Avia Travel has organized a charter flight from Dushanbe to New Delhi.  National air carrier TajikAir operates this flight.

Rustam Rustamov, deputy head of the resource management unit of TajikAir, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that the first charter flight from Dushanbe to New Delhi was held on January 25 and the second is expected to be operated on February 2.  The fare on the charter flight from Dushanbe to New Delhi is $350.00.     

According to him, this nonscheduled flight has been chartered for a specific trip, especially as part of a tourism package and business trips.   “On January 25, TU-134 carried 50 passengers, primarily tourists, to new Delhi,” TajikAir official said, adding that both Tajik Indian businesspeople may possibly also use this flight in future.  

According to him, the flight Dushanbe-New Delhi will probably be operated once a week.
