DUSHANBE, April 6, Asia-Plus – Days of Russian movie will be held in Tajikistan from May 6-12.

Munavvar Mansourkhojayev, the head of Tajik Cinematographers’ Union, said that the event will be held in accordance with a culture cooperation agreement that was signed by heads of state of member nations of the Commonwealth of Independent State (CIS) in Russia’s city of Kazan in 2006.  

A high-ranking delegation, including known Russian filmmakers and actors such as Vladimir Menshov, Andrey Eshpai, Alisa Gerebenshchikova as well as director general of Russia’s Gosfilmfond, Nikolai Borodachyov, will arrive in Tajikistan to represent seven Russian movies.  

According to Mansourkhojayev, from May 6 to May 8, the movies will be demonstrated at Dom Kino in Dushanbe and from May 9 to May 10, they will be shown in Khujand.
