DUSHANBE, May 15, Asia-Plus – A National School of Tourism is expected to be opened in Dushanbe at the end of May.  

Abdughani Mamadazimov, the head of the Scientific-Cultural and Tourism Center Shohrohi Abreshim (Great Silk Road), told Asia-Plus that the center will organize training for specialists working in the fields of hotel, service and relevant industries.  Skilled trainers have been invited from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for conducting training, according to him.  

“The school is established for the purpose of promoting development of this profitable sector and training personnel for hotels and other tourism facilities in the country,” Mamadazimov said, adding that all those interested may take short-term courses at the National School of Tourism.  

“The school is established on an initiative of the national Foundation Shohrohi Abreshim under support of the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia,” Mamadazimov said.
