DUSHANBE, May 21, Asia-Plus – Days of Tajik Culture have been launched in Beijing, China, today.

Culture Minister Mirzoshorukh Asror is heading the Tajik delegation that consists of known Tajik singers and artistes.  

A source at the Ministry of Culture (MoC) said that ensembles Zebo, Gulrez, Shashmaqom and Falak as well as known Tajik variety singers such as Dilorom Qurbonova, Parvina Shukrulloyeva and Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov are representing Tajikistan culture in China.  

Besides, an exhibition of work by known Tajik painters and photo show entitled “Tajikistan Today” have opened in Beijing on sidelines of this event that runs through May 28.

The source added that four joint musical programs of Tajik and Chinese performers are expected to be held within the framework of Days of Tajik Culture in Beijing.
