DUSHANBE, May 28, Asia-Plus – A conference to discuss issues related to investing in development of coal fields as well as rehabilitation and construction of thermal electric power stations in Tajikistan will open in the building of the National bank of Tajikistan (NBT) on May 29, Asia-Plus has learned from a source in the Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI).

According to him, the conference, which is expected to bring together representatives of industrial companies and banks from Tajikistan, Russia, the United States, Kazakhstan and China, as well as international financial institutions such as the World Bank (WB) and the Asia-Development Bank (ADB) and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Tajikistan, is aiming to discuss ways to attract investments in Tajikistan’s coal industry.
