DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus – Four people were killed and three others injured in an explosion in a car in the Danghara district on the night of May 27-28.

According to Tajik traffic police directorate, the accident took place near the village of Qoshbuloq in Danghara Saturday night. 

A car driven by Qudrat Taghoynazarov blew up when it was moving from Danghara to Dushanbe. 

As a result of explosion, Qudrat Taghoynazarov and his two daughters died on the spot.  One woman died on the way to hospital.  Toghoynazarov’s wife and 9-year-old daughter as well as his father received serious wounds and were taken to the hospital.  Physicians say they are in serious condition.  

Traffic police officers have attributed the blast to a defective gasoline jerrican that was in the car.
