DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus – A Tajik parliamentary delegation led by the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) speaker Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has left for St. Petersburg to attend events dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the CIS Interstate Parliamentary Assembly and take part at the 8th session of the Interstate Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) that will be held there on May 29 and June 3.  

Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker for relations with media and NGOs, told Asia-Plus that the delegation consists of members of the upper house Mamadsho Ilolov, Mahkam Mahmoudov and Qahhor Mahkamov.  

During its stay in St. Petersburg, the delegation will also take part at international parliamentary conference on cultural and inter-religious dialogue, Saidov said.
