DUSHANBE, Asia-Plus — In June, the highest average monthly wage was reported in the financial sector – 760.53 somonis, and the lowest average monthly wage rated at 48.27 somonis was in the agrarian sector, the State Committee for Statistics said.  

An average monthly wage in the sphere of production rose 34.6 percent in the year to June 30, 2007, reaching 140.10 somonis.  In the sectorial cross section the average monthly wages in the production sphere were: telecommunications sector was 413.73 somonis; transportation sector – 380.4 somonis; and industrial sector – 334.73 somonis.

An average monthly wage in the non-production sphere rose 37.3 percent in the year to June 30, 2007, reaching 218.25 somonis.
