DUSHANBE, September 18, Asia-Plus — Three Tajik nationals have been killed during blasting on the highway from Dushanbe to Khujand.

According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the incident took place on the 152nd kilometer of the highway in Sughd’s Ayni district on September 17. 

The source at a MoI said that a 43-year-old Halim Hakimov, a 45-year-old Rasoul Bouriyev and a 30-year-old Khayrullo Karimov were walking along the road when specialists were destroying the mass of rock with the use of hand-placed explosive. 

Another fatal incident took place in the same day in Rasht, eastern Tajikistan.  One person was killed at the Nazar-Ayloq coalfield as the mass of call fell on him. 

The same day, three persons killed by rockfall in the Rasht district.
