DUSHANBE, October 29, Asia-Plus  — Tajik parliamentary delegation led by the Majlisi Milli (upper chamber of Tajik parliament) speaker Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev yesterday left for St. Petersburg on a four-day working visit.   

Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker for relations with media and NGOs, told Asia-Plus that Tajik MPs will take part in a number of events of the Parliamentary Assemblies of the CIS, the Eurasian Economic Community and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) that will be held there from October 29 to November 2.  

Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev will preside over a session of the Bureau of the EAEC Parliamentary Assembly and hold talks with Sergey Mironov, speaker of Russia’s Council of Federation, and speakers of both houses of Belarus parliament.  

Issues related to regulating labor migration and raising culture of labor migrations are expected to be focus of the parliamentary assemblies, the aide said.
