DUSHANBE, November 14, Asia-Plus  — A new casualty unit with a total of 20 beds has been opened at City Clinic hospital # 3 in Dushanbe, Asia-plus has learned at the Ministry of Health (MoH). 

The source at a MoH said the unit had been opened in accordance with the Dushanbe health directorate’s plan and 116,000 somonis had been provided from the Dushanbe budget for carrying out major repairs and providing the unit with supplies for medical care. 

According to him, an accident ward has functioned at the hospital but it has provided only first aid.  The new casualty unit is well-prepared for performing both planned and urgent operations, the source said.
