DUSHANBE, November 19, Asia-Plus  — In January-October 2007, Tajikistan has produced a total of 4.3231 billion somonis worth of industrial goods, the State Committee for Statistics said.  

Compared to the same period of 2006 the index of the volume of production of industrial goods amounted to 108.6 percent.

            Enterprises subordinate to the Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI) have manufactured 789.2 million somonis worth of output over the same ten-month period, which is 8.3 percent more than in January-October 2006.    

Over the report period, enterprises of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection (MoAEP) have produced 449.2 million worth of goods, which 18.8 percent more than in the same period of last year.  

In the meantime, enterprises, which are not under jurisdiction of the ministries and organizations, have produced a total of 2.0461 billion somonis worth of industrial goods over the same ten-month period, which is 3.8 percent more than in January-October 2006.
