DUSHANBE, December 26, Asia-Plus — On Wednesday December 26, President Emomali Rahmon held a hook-up conference with participation of heads of Panjakent, Taboshar, Chkalovsk, Kuhistoni Mastchoh, Spitamen, Jabborrasulov, Shahriston and Rumi administrations to discuss issues related to targeted use of budgetary and grant funds and improvement of settlements, presidential press service said.   

The heads of administrations of the mentioned towns and districts gave the president an account of the state of affairs by phone.  The participants of the conference mainly focused on social problems, renovation of educational facilities and enhancement of the agrarian sector.   

The president tasked the heads of the mentioned town and district administrations to take efforts to develop sectors like education, public health and social security of the population as well as speed up work on improvement of settlements.
