DUSHANBE, December 28, Asia-Plus  — An official opening of two schools will be held in the Hissor district today, according to the Ministry of Education.

The source at a MoE said that one of these schools had been built in the Chamaniston jamaot and another one in the Nav jamoat.  The school in Chamaniston is capable to accommodate 120 pupils and the school in Nav will accommodate 200 pupils.  Construction of the schools has been funded by national budget.  

Besides, another new school has been put into operation in Hissor’s Ittifoq jamoat.  This school has been built due funds provided by the district budget and local entrepreneurs Fattoh Burhonov and Nasriddin Nematov.  The school to accommodate 360 pupils has been built by construction company Vatandoust.  

The MoE source added that the fourth new school had been put into operation in Hissor’s Navobod jamoat.  The district budget and local entrepreneurs have funded construction of this school.  

            A new building of school # 56 to accommodate 250 pupils in the Constitution settlement, Rudaki district was also put into operation recently.  480,000 somonis has been spent for construction of this school.  Of this amount, 200,000 somonis has been provided from presidential reserve fund.   

According to the MoE, 3,789 general schools now function in the country.
