            KULOB, February 15, Asia-Plus  — The Kulob regional prosecutor’s office has completed investigation into case of Joumakhon Aliyev, the director of the Kulob central market Sakhovat, who is charged with violating fire code and not fulfilling fire safety requirements.  

            The source at the Kulob regional prosecutor’s office said that inspection of the market for compliance with fire safety requirements had recorded numerous instance of violation of the fire code. 

According to him, similar criminal proceedings were also instituted against Amirkhon Nazriyev, the director of vocational-technical school # 22 located in the Dahana jamoat of the Kulob district. 

Aliyev and Nazriyev face charges under Article 192 of Tajikistan’s Criminal Code – violation of the fire safety requirements.     

            “Both cases will move to a court on February 16,” the source said.
