                DUSHANBE, February 16, Asia-Plus — On Friday February 15, President Emomali Rahmon had telephone conversations with heads of Gorno Badakhshan, Sughd and Khatlon provinces, as well as Danghara and Rasht districts to discuss a progress of preparations for the spring sowing campaign, presidential press service said.  

                The president charged heads of local authorities to take all necessary measures to properly prepare and carry out sowing campaign and improve cities and villages.   

                He also tasked them to explain the reason for the critical energy situation that had emerged in the country and efforts taken by the government tot tackle this problem to the population.  

The president also urged provincial officials to take adequate measure ensure provision of educational and medical facilities with coals and other types of fuel.  

                The head of state also pointed to the necessity of increasing production of consumer goods and effectively using farmlands.
