       KHOROG, February 26, Asia-Plus  —  A training seminar on methods of working out business-plan and presenting design estimates was held for school principals in Khorog on February 24. 

According Ghulomnosir Qurbonov, a specialist with the GBAO Professional Education Development Institute, the seminar participants included 28 secondary school principals and representatives from the GBAO education directorate.  

“The seminar participants considered issues related to working out business plans, design estimates and grants for tackling socioeconomic problems facing schools in the region,” said Qurbonov.  “They, in particular, discussed hygiene and sanitary requirements, renovation of equipment, etc.  The participants worked out their business plans that could be submitted for consideration to grant-makers.” 

 

  

       He added that the institute also conducts seminars on finance management, as well as planning and development of schools for local education authorities.
