DUSHANBE, March 3, Asia-Plus  — Organizing committee for international conference to discuss water-related disaster risk reduction, led by Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov, has called on electronic and print media to post materials about the conference, which is scheduled to be held in Dushanbe on June 27-28 this year.  

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the Tajik Journalists’ Union head Akbarali Sattorov said that the committee had requested them for publishing materials about efforts taken by the government and relevant ministries and organizations to reduce risk of the water-related disasters in the country as well as analytical articles and interviews with researchers and experts on the “Water for Life” subject.  

“The Journalists’ Union offers local media to support this call and make their contribution to preparation and holding of this important international event,” Sattorov said.
