DUSHANBE, March 13, Asia-Plus  — Another large fire has been reported on Dushanbe’s Korvon market. 

According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the firefighting service received call about the fire Tuesday night, at about 10:00 p.m.  Firefighting crews involving in extinguishing the fire put it down within an hour, the source at a MoI said.   

The fire damaged more than 210 square meters of market’s Sector 4.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.  A special commission has been set up to assess to actual volume of damage caused to the market by the fire.  

We will recall that it is already the fourth large fire on the market Korvon over its five-year activity.
