DUSHNBE, April 11, Asia-Plus  — As of April 1, a loan portfolio of open joint-stock company (OJSC) Orienbonk, Tajikistan’s largest commercial bank, has exceeded 596 million somonis (equivalent to more than $174 million). 

 According to Orienbonk’s press service, in the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in local currency were: private commercial enterprises – 80.28 percent; agricultural enterprises – 13.11 percent; state-owned enterprises – 2.79 percent; and physical entities – 3.15 percent.  

In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in foreign currencies were: private commercial enterprises – 57.61 percent; agricultural enterprises – 5.83 percent; state-owned enterprises – 36.27 percent; and physical entities – 0.29 percent.  

We will recall that as of marc 1, 2008, Orienbonk’s loan portfolio has amounted to 557.219 million somonis (more than $162.7).
