DUSHANBE, April 11, Asia-Plus  – State and prospects of further expansion of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Iran were a focus of talks of Saydullo Khairulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), with visiting Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Said Baqir Sakhai that was held in Dushanbe on April 11.    

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that during the meeting, Tajik speaker had named development of political, socioeconomic and cultural ties as a factor contributing to expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.  He also noted that the parliaments of Tajikistan and Iran had established friendly bilateral ties, according to the spokesman.

For his pat, Iran’s Deputy FM noted that his country attaches significance to cooperation with Tajikistan and added that both countries have all necessary potentials and resources for further expansion of bilateral cooperation, Sultonov said.
