DUSHANBE, April 25, Asia-Plus  — Police in Dushanbe burned more than 542 kilograms of drugs, including 239.9 kilograms of raw opium, more than 108.8 kilograms of heroin, and more than 103.3 kilograms of hashish as well as 844 wild hemp bushes today morning. 

A source at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that the drugs were confiscated in the course of 2007-08.

The drugs were burnt in the presence of representatives of the law enforcement agencies, judicial system and media.
