DUSHANBE, April 26, Asia-Plus — On Friday April 25, the Drug Control Agency (DCA) hosted a session of the coordination council on drug abuse prevention.
According to Alisher Tashripov, the head of the DCA drug addiction prevention department, the meeting participants included representatives from interested ministries and organizations as well as international organizations.
The session heard a report by the deputy Dushanbe mayor, Rustam Rahmatov on effort taken by the Dushanbe mayor’s office to prevent drug abuse among the city residents.
The meeting participants also considered a progress of implementation of the program preventing spread of drug addiction in Tajikistan and improving narcology aid.
