DUSHANBE, April 28, Asia-Plus  — The Fourth Regional Public Procurement Forum organized by the World Bank opened in Dushanbe today.

During three days, senior public officials from the ministries of finance and agencies on procurement as well as representatives of the private sector, civil society and international organizations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are expected to discuss issues of improving public procurement efficiency in Central Asia countries.

Mr. Ghulomjon Bobozoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, and Ms. Chiara Bronchi, World Bank Country Manager for Tajikistan, opened the forum.
