DUSHANBE, May 3, Asia-Plus  — Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev passed a resolution endorsing a plan of events to mark the 63rd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.  

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the capital mayor, said that by mayor’s resolution the Dushanbe main finance directorate is to allocate 424,150 somonis from the city budget for providing extraordinary grants to ware veterans and persons equated with them.  

Veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 will receive 350 somonis each.  Invalids of arm in the territory of other countries, the Chernobyl cleanup operation invalids, and the spouses of the servicemen who died in the Great Patriotic ware of 1941-1945 and those who died while defending the constitutional order in the country will receive 200 somonis each.  

Besides, the mayor also called on heads of enterprises and organizations based in Dushanbe to provide assistance to war veterans and persons equated with them, the spokesman said.
