KHUJAND, May 29, Asia-Plus — This year, fourteen seats have been allotted for school leavers from the northern Sughd province for studying at universities in the Russian Federation, Asia-plus has learned at the Sughd education directorate.

The source at the Sughd education directorate said that in all, Russia has allotted Tajikistan a quota of 60 students this year.   

251 students from northern Tajikistan, including 147 girls, currently study at different universities in the Russian Federation.
