DUSHANBE, June 9, Asia-Plus  – The US delegation led by Utah State Senator John Valentine arrived in Tajikistan today morning for a four-day working visit. Asia-Plus has learned at MFA.

The US delegation is supposed to discuss with high-ranking Tajik state officials state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral US-Tajik cooperation.  

During his stay in Tajikistan, Senator Valentine is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov, Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi, Education Minister Abdujabbor Rahmonov and deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament).  

The US delegation will stay in Tajikistan till June 12.
