KHUJAND, June 17, Asia-Plus  — The Republican Youth Labor Exchange jointly with the Sughd Directorate for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs is sending local youth to the Russian Federation for seasonal work.  

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Faridoun Hodiboyev, a leading specialist with the Sughd directorate with youth, sports and tourism affairs, said that under agreements concluded with Russian employers they will work in the agrarian sector in Volgograd and Moscow regions.  “An average monthly wage to be paid to them will fluctuate from 12,000 to 15,000 Russian rubles (RR),” Hodiboyev said.  

Besides, Sughd youth having specialties of concrete worker, gas welder, fitter, and house painter may go to Russia’s Krasnodar region to work in the construction sector.  They will receive from 15,000 to 20,000 Russian rubles per month.   

The youth will be sent to Russia before June 20 and travel and accommodation expenses will be paid by employers, the leading specialist said.
