Turkmenneft state concern and Tatneft open joint-stock company will exchange visits at the level of working groups for various areas of cooperation in the coming months. During the visits, the company will look into the possibility of supplying different kind of equipment to

and agree on the forms of cooperation as well as the scope of work at Goturdepe, Gumdag and Guyjik fields, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent has learned from Tatneft”s press service. The programme of cooperation between Turkmenneft and Tatneft is defined by the protocol on further cooperation in the oil and gas sphere. It was signed by Garyagdy Tashliyev and Shafagat Tahautdinov on July 4 during Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev”s official visit to Ashgabat.

 

The protocol sets out the period and scope of drilling works as well as construction of oil pipelines and supply conduits at one of Turkmenneft”s fields using technologies and under supervision of specialists of Tatarstan”s oil company.

 

It should be recalled that the Turkmen state concern is continuing operation and maintenance phase of the first consignment of oil equipment supplied and run by Tatneft last month.
