DUSHANBE, July 17, 2008, Asia-Plus  — As of July 1, 2008, a loan portfolio of open joint-stock company (OJSC) Orienbonk, which is one of Tajikistan’s largest financial institutions, has amounted to 592.488 million somonis (equivalent to more than $172.807 million), according to Orienbonk’s press service.  

In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in local currency were: private commercial enterprises – 82.2 percent; agricultural enterprises – 12.92 percent; state-owned enterprises – 1.75 percent; and physical entities – 3.13 percent.  

In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in foreign currencies were: private commercial enterprises – 50.48 percent; agricultural enterprises – 20.84 percent; state-owned enterprises – 28.43 percent; and physical entities – 0.25 percent.  

We will recall that as of June 1, 2008, Orienbonk’s loan portfolio amounted to more than 580.802 million somonis (more than $169.399 million).
