DUSHANBE, August 2, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Four cooperation agreements have been signed on the sidelines of China’s national exhibition that concluded in Dushanbe Friday evening, according to press service of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).  

Representatives of a delegation of China’s Xinjiang-Uighur Autonomous (XUAR) that was represented in the exhibition by eight companies signed four agreements with Tajik companies on delivery of cement, paper, two elevators for multistory residential buildings, and the beer production components to Tajikistan, the press service said.    

Chinese entrepreneurs invited their Tajik colleagues to attend the Chinese-Asian economic forum that will be held in Urumqi in September and the second Urumqi motor exhibition due on October 15.  

Chinese national four-day, entitled “Chinese-Tajik Trade and Investments”, was held at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe from July 29 to August 1.    

According to CCI, more than 70 large companies from six Chinese provinces participated in the exhibition.  Among them are China’s largest wireless and telecommunications manufacturer, ZTE, Tebian Electric Apparatus Stock Co., Ltd (TBEA), Huawei (telecommunications producer), China Road, etc. 

They put on display their achievements in machinery, mining, telecommunications, jewelry and light industry at the fair.
