DUSHANBE, August 9, 2008, Asia-Plus  — An exhibition of goods of Iran’s Mazandaran province opened at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe today.

More than 35 Mazandaran companies and their subsidiaries, are participating in the exhibition, which runs through August 14. 

In all, more than 100 exponents from Mazandaran have put on display their goods at the fair in Dushanbe.       

In the meantime, a meeting of Sharif Said, head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), with a delegation of the Mazandaran CCI, which was held ahead of the exhibition, discussed issues related to further expansion of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran, according to the Tajik CCI press service.

The sides outlined sectors like mining, production of mineral water, as well as poultry and fishery, as areas of which could drive the bilateral trade between the two countries. 

 CCIs of Tajikistan and Mazandaran are also expected to sing a cooperation agreement, the press service said.
