DUSHANBE, August 14, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Tajik boxer Jahon Qurbonov (81 kg) has advanced to the quarterfinal.

Tajik light-heavyweight boxer (81 kilograms) Jahon Qurbonov secured his place in the quarterfinal on August 14, by defeating Mario Sivolya (phonetically spelled) of Croatia 8-1.

We will recall that out boxer beat light-heavyweight champion of Chicago 2007, Abbos Atoyev of Uzbekistan 11-3 in his first match on August 9.
