On August 21-23, Ashgabat will host the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference titled “Primary areas of power engineering industry development in Turkmenistan”. The Ministry of Power Engineering and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan are the organizers of the forum.

According to the TurkmenBusiness.org Information and Business Center, the exhibition will be held in the Sergi Koshgi Exposition Center. It will tell about the achievements of the power engineering sector of Turkmenistan and opportunities of expanding of effective interaction. The exhibition sections include exhibits about electric and thermal energy, design, construction and operation of electric power stations, energy-saving technologies, illumination devices , etc. The forum will also focus on the use of alternative, so called renewable, sources of energy, such as solar and wind ones.
