DUSHANBE, August 30, 2008, Asia-Plus  — A book by ex-Minister of Culture of China, Sun Jiazheng, in the Tajik language was presented at the Tajik Ministry of Culture in Dushanbe on August 29. 

The book by Sun Jiazheng, who is currently deputy head of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), entitled “Dreams and Expectations of Modern Culture of China”, was translated from Russian into Tajik by Tajik writer of political essays Abdugaffor Abdujabbor and printed at the Dushanbe publishing house Ejod.  

Abdujabbor noted in preface that Sun’s thoughts about role of culture and art in development of modern society are topical for Tajik readers as well.  

Established in 1949, the Chinese People”s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is an organization of the patriotic United Front of the Chinese People
