KHOROG, September 1, 2008, Asia-Plus  — In the new academic year, 24 best school students in Gorno Badakhshan will receive presidential grant, Asia-Plus has learned from Raso Rajabov, head of the GBAO directorate for youth, sports and tourism affairs.  

According to him, the city and the district commissions have selected those 24 school students as recipients of presidential grant at the rate of 84 somonis per month from 200 local school students obtaining excellent marks. 

The best school students in Gorno Badakhshan also have an opportunity to receive grants instituted by the GBAO governor, Khorog mayor and district chairmen, Rajabov said.
