Capital mayor dissatisfied with work of one his deputies

DUSHANBE, September 16, 2008, Asia-Plus  – Speaking at a September 15 working meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev expressed dissatisfaction with work of one of his deputies and the Dushanbe trade and markets directorate head Asomiddin Rizoyev, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.  

According to him, the mayor reprimanded them and gave them two months to remove existing and provide the city’s markets with enough food products.  The mentioned persons were warned that more strict measures would be taken against them if they fail to implement their duties in future.

The meeting also heard reports by top managers of the Dushanbe main directorate of public services and utilities on special program for improvement of the city in 2008-2010, the spokesman said.
