The business circles of Bahrain show high interest in collaboration with Turkmenistan, in which they see a reliable and promising partner, said Sheikh Faisal Bin Rashid Bin Isa Al Khalifa, a member of the royal family of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at a meeting with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov today.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed Turkmenistan”s readiness to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with Bahrain and “noted that the potential of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain is not being fully used,” the Turkmen president”s press service said.

During the meeting, Sheikh Faisal Bin Rashid Bin Isa Al Khalifa asked the head of state to accept funds in the amount of US 100,000 for charitable purposes “as a sign of sincere friendship and highest respect for Turkmenistan and Turkmen people.” These funds will be donated to the orphanage palace named after President of the United Arab Emirates.

It should be recalled that a hospital in Serdar district was reconstructed with the use of charitable funds allocated by Sheikh Rashid Bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Sheikh Faisal Bin Rashid Bin Isa Al Khalifa will attend the opening ceremony of the state racecourse in Ashgabat after large-scale renovation within the framework of the celebrations on the occasion of Turkmenistan”s Independence Day, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
