DUSHANBE, November 3, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the Treaty on a Nuclear-weapon-free Zone in Central Asia at a November 3 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev. 

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the law on children’s and youth sports in Tajikistan as well as the administrative ad criminal codes.

Some of these issues will be considered at the regular sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on November 12, the spokesman said.
