DUSHANBE, November 28, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan visited Tajik-Turkish Hoji Kamol Lyceum in Dushanbe yesterday afternoon after the trip to Qurghon Teppa, the capital of the Khatlon province where he got acquainted with the Jaloliddin Rumi Memorial Complex. 

During his visit to the Lyceum, Turkish minister familiarized himself with classes and studies and was satisfied with the knowledge level of the lyceum students.  

            Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan was on a two-day visit to Tajikistan on November 26-27.  During his stay in Tajikistan, he held talks with his Tajik counterpart Hamrokhon Zarifi and President Emomali Rahmon to discuss issues related to preparation of a state visit of Turkish President Abdullah Gul to Tajikistan scheduled for the next spring as well as state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Turkey and Tajikistan.
