The presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey held tripartite talks behind closed doors at Serdar hotel in the city of Turkmenbashi on 29 November.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ilham Aliyev and Abdullah Gul spoke in favor of the further development of trade-economic cooperation as well as cooperation the energy and trade-communication spheres, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.

The sides agreed to maintain regular contacts both at the high level and through intergovernmental consultations, exchange of delegations, and organization of joint forums.

“This is our first meeting in such format, and I am confident that this meeting will serve our common cause and give an impetus to our productive cooperation,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said in the end of talks.
