Karim Massimov, Kazakh Prime Minister met with Thomas Mirow, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President in Ukimet Uiy (House of Government) yesterday, reported in Kazakh Prime Minister press service.

Parties discussed situation in the world economy, prospects of Kazakhstan development and cooperation between Kazakhstan and EBRD.

They also exchanged opinions on Kazakh Government’s measures taken for economic stabilization.

“I consider that directions set in the Government’s antirecessionary program are correct. EBRD will work hard to support Kazakhstan Government in its implementation,” Thomas Mirow said.

EBRD President stressed that Kazakhstan had all opportunities to overcome crisis.

Karim Massimov and Thomas Mirow were confident in further successful and productive cooperation.
