DUSHANBE, January 7, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Youth Labor Exchange at the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs has signed contracts with a number of Russian companies for 400 seasonal jobs in the Russian Federation.

Speaking in an interview wit Asia-Plus, Abduroziq Kaboudov, the deputy director of the Youth Labor Exchange for external migration, said that 250 people would be placed in seasonal jobs in a state farm in Russia’s Volgograd region.  “They will receive from $450 to $600 per month,” Kaboudov said.

Another 150 people will be placed in seasonal jobs at agricultural company Bunyatina in the city of Dmitriyevo.  They will receive on average from $500 to $700 per month.

According to Kaboudov, the jobs are provided mainly to people aged 25 to 40.
