Askhat Orazbai, Kazakh Ambassador met with M.Yazmukhammedova, Deputy Chairman of Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers in Ashgabat, Kazinform reported referring to Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry press service.

Within the meeting issues on development of cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan were considered. Turkmen Vice Prime Minister noted activization of contacts between the two countries in this sphere. In particular, issue on preparation and holding of Kazakhstan culture Days in Turkmenistan in spring, 2009 was discussed.

The sides expressed interest in establishment of closer cooperation between Kazakh and Turkmen information structures for ensuring wide awareness of events in two friendly states.
