The first meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of IV convocation was called in the Turkmen capital. During the meeting President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov addressed the national Parliament with the keynote speech.

The President noted that implementing the economic reforms to improve the people’s welfare the Government paid special attention to the well-balanced development of all sectors of the domestic economy and entrepreneurship. Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov said that the state support of the private sector stipulated that entrepreneurs would be provided with tax benefits and credits and organizational and technical assistance. The laws encouraging the investment activity of national and foreign companies would be updated. The Turkmen leader focused on the need to draft the laws enabling to preserve the integrity and solidity of the society under market conditions.
