DUSHANBE, January 23, “Asia-Plus” – Russian Federation remains by the priority country for the Tajik labor migration, the minister of labor and social protection of the population Shukurjon Zahurov has declared on the eve in a course of a press conference.
As he said, the job on reorientation of labor migration in other countries is at present conducted, but in a choice of other directions there are problems. “Till now we worked with Russia and Kazakhstan, and to choose today other country not simply. Yes, we can send ours migrants in other countries, but it needs serious preparation and knowledge of language of the accepting country “, – he has noted.
According to the minister, the republic will apply some efforts, that Tajik labor migrants were not only professional workers, but also knew language and culture of a host country.
“The Decision of government the last year created the Centre on training the adult population, which branches are in Kulob, Kurgon-teppa, Kanibadam. At these centers prepare the experts in the most claimed directions, – he has noted, having added, that on accounts of the ministry in 2009 at the centers will be prepared of the order 8,5 thousand experts on more, than 60 specialties. – Besides we recommended on the basis of large constructions to create educational combines, that the people there studied, passed practice and there received job. At session of government I have offered, that vocational schools transferred Ministry of Education, were redirected on short-term courses for the adults”.
According to the minister, now in Tajikistan prepare lot of the experts absolutely not necessary to the market of work. “Annually we prepare 20 thousand the lawyers, only 5% from which, probably, will find job on a specialty, and it is not enough of the experts, which would work on manufacture,” – he has emphasized.
Meanwhile, speaking about returning of migrants home and opportunities of their employment in Tajikistan, Sh. Zuhurov has noted, that in 2009 is planned to create in the RT 150-200 thousand workplaces. “We hope, that the amount of created workplaces will grow, however it does not solve all problems, as all of us equally can not ensure all wishing with workplaces, – he has noted. – we hope, that basic weight nevertheless will go to foreign countries and will work there”.
