DUSHANBE, February 12, 009, Asia-Plus  — A ceremony of presentation of Turkey’s plastic pipe producing company, AKIN PLASTIK BORU SAN. A.S., was held at the Tajikistan Hotel in Dushanbe on February 11, Asia-Plus has learned to the company’s office in Dushanbe.

AKIN Executive Director, Ms. Shahika Elken Olguluk, attended the company presentation ceremony.

The mains stress in cooperation between Tajikistan and AKIN will be laid on production of the company’s products in Tajikistan itself, the source said, noting that they plan to launch a joint venture in Tajikistan.

“Plastic pipes produced by AKIN meet all international standards and used in oil-and-gas and construction industries as well as by housing and communal services,” the source said.

Established in 1977, AKIN PLASTİK BORU SAN. A.S. aims at manufacturing irrigation and sprinkler pipes.
