A Turkmen-Russian business forum and exhibition of Turkmen goods will be held in Moscow within the framework of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov”s visit to the Russian Federation scheduled for March 2009. This was announced by the president of Turkmenistan at a government meeting on 10 February.
The head of state stressed the importance of “expanding Turkmenistan”s presence in the capacious Russian market.” He instructed deputy prime minister H.Muhammedov to ensure high level organization of the events.
Speaking of the need “to expand Turkmenistan”s presence in the capacious Russian market”, the head of state said the opening of the Trade House of Turkmenistan in Moscow would precede the exhibition.
