DUSHANBE, March 16, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The head of Tajik Legal Consortium (TLC), Rahmatillo Zoirov, conducted master-class for Sughd barristers in Khujand on March 13.

According to the TLC Dushanbe Office, the master-class was conducted within the framework of preparations for trials TLC will initiate in northern Tajikistan in the near future.  The master class participants included 24 barristers from Khujand and Istaravshan.  The Business Legal Support Program coordinator Shams Gulmamadov attended the master-class as an expert.

We will recall that TLC opened its local offices in Istaravshan and Khujand in late February.  The entrepreneurship legal support center functions at Tajik Legal Consortium and TLC’s offices in Khujand and Istaravshan will be mainly engaged in providing legal support to local entrepreneurs.

Tajik Legal Consortium was established in 1998.
