KULOB, March 16, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Kulob international airport has leased a plane form Tajik national air carrier, Tajik Air, to operate flights to Moscow, the deputy director of the Kulob airport, Nourali Homidov, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, new flights to Moscow will be conducted twice a week – on Mondays and Thursdays.

At present, Russia’s air company, Ural Airlines, is conducting flights from Kulob to Moscow four times a week, the deputy director said.
